Yeah they've aged fairly well by my standards anyways. Max Payne was a big hit when it first came out and even though it borrowed the bullet-time from The Matrix, it was still a great game. The story just draws you into the environment in a slight non-linear form and follows Max Payne through the seediest hotels and areas with some great references along the way, including a nice reference to John Woo and of course, the old film noir films of the '40's. Max Payne 2 had more of a violent, foul-mouthed edge to it and didn't sell quite as many copies as it's predecessor but it still managed to be a decent sequel and I don't have to remind how hard that can be! Max Payne 2 is a fairly solid sequel, tying in the characters from Max Payne into the expanding backstory which soon becomes a gritty noir love story! It's well worth the check out! There's been rumours of a Max Payne 3 but nothing big has surfaced just yet. Oh and they're making a film adaptation of Max Payne but I'm having my hesitations about it incase they destroy the whole story and feel to the game. They would have to study the source material pretty hard!!
