I am also having trouble with the competitions. I don't know if I have actually applied as when I submit my entries I dont receive any "thanks for entering competition style message. Just get redirected to competition main page. So now I don't know if I just wasted my last 40 mins trying to apply for prizes.

We actually do read all entires so you only need to enter the once as it is dependent on what you write rather than a lucky dip.
If anyone is unsure if their entry has gone through or not, let me know which comp they entered and I can check.

Whoops! you'll get a few entries from me for the Muppets competition then....I was wondering if there was a entry confirmation pop up etc but I guess there isn't! Sorry about the multies!!

Why, for example, when in the Terms & Conditions for a competition it says that the Competition is open until 23:59 pm 8th August 2012, do you take down the competition on the morning of 8th of August, anywhere up to 20 odd hours early? Why also, if I go to the previous address for the competition in this period (ie before the official closing time but after the link has disappeared from the competition page) does it say "competition closed" rather than have the webform available until the listed closing time? Early closure is annoying to all us procrastinators out here! Not complying with your own T&Cs also infringes consumer law. So why do you do it?

Just wondering whether the Universal Monsters BD competition is still open. According to the T&C's it closed in the first week of November but the entry form is still there, and didn't disappear when the most recent crop of competitions closed. Just an oversight? or is it still open for entries?

Just signed up upon hearing about the awesome Dark Knight Returns Part 2 screening/Injustice Gods Among Us preview event competition. I've tried to enter a few times, but it keeps sending me to a blank white page which reads "Sorry, an error has occurred."
Just wondering if there's anything in particular I might be doing wrong.
P.S. If the the entries actually ARE going through, then I apologise for the twenty-or-so near-identical entries you've received in the last two days. I didn't mean to spam, I'm just REALLY eager to be in the running to attend this event! :)
